This is a thread for the PC enthusiasts of FuriousPvP and NemeGaming to come to together and talk all things computer! This includes talking about the latest upcoming tech like AMD Threadripper and Vega, or talking about PC building and asking for advice and such. This is also a place to show off your recent builds or upgrades!

This was a thing back on the old FuriousPvP forums a long time ago, thought I'd bring it back for all of you!

I will send pictures once I am home, but I acquired my current PC from my father's workplace, then edited it to better suit my needs. List of specs and if it was edited from original:

    i5-3470 (3.2GHz 4-cores) - not edited
16 GB RAM (edited - original PC had 4GB)
250GB HDD - not edited - surprisingly this is enough storage for me, however I may add more down the line
GTX 750 Ti - edited - original PC did not come with a graphics card, so I purchased the best graphics card that I could afford at the time (approx. 1.5 years ago)

    (edit in pictures later here)

    My Setup is as follows:
    CPU: Intel Core i7
    RAM: 12GB
    OS: Windows 10
    Storage: 3HDD (500gb, 500gb, 1tb) & 1 (250gb) SSD
Monitor: AOC 144hz Gaming Monitor 27"
Graphics Card: Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II
    Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D
    Mouse: Red Dragon Centrophorus
    Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder x4
    *Water Cooled*
Might get a new Graphics card :p

If you have a beasty enough PSU, I'd recommend picking up a used 780ti. They're super powerful for the $150 price point they go for on ebay. I'll even be kind enough to drop you a link!

ditto to you on the graphics card recommendation. also I have the exact same mouse!

I'd recommend getting an ssd if you have the money.

Would it be worth it to SLI two 780ti's? As I probably want a little more power than just one will give.

Yes! It will be able to push 4k if you try hard enough!

    Ordered my new pc yesterday including;
1070 (gaming edition doesn't mean shit but wasn't much extra)
    16GB of basic Corsair RAM
    Intel i7 7700K (sexy)
    2TB HDD 500GB SSD
Went with a nice thermaltake rgb case because of the nice case fans considering my setup
obviously some other smaller components but these are the maiin <3

Also I wouldn't care about pushing 4k as the monitor and cord requirements for it wouldn't be worth may aswell just get a a 960 or something which will easily holdup assuming he isnt running full on ultra graphics on crisis or something

This is a pretty nice build. Should be able to run just about any game at 1080p on Ultra settings. Just a question, what motherboard? Are you using a Z270? And if so, do you plan to overclock?

    My build:
    CPU: i3 7100 @ 3.9 GHz w/ 2 cores
Motherboard: MSI Z270 Pro Gaming Carbon (Yes, I know this is overkill at the moment, but I plan to get a 7700K eventually)
    RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400 MHz
GPU: Radeon RX 480 4 GB (Got it for around $150 bucks from NewEgg)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB
    HDD: 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM
PSU: EVGA 650W G3 (Once again, overkill, planning to upgrade some other stuff like the GPU)
    Case: NZXT S340 Elite (Black/Red)
    Link to the Parts list:

Runs really well for the price point, in hindsight, I should have waited to the Ryzen 3 CPUs to come out because they are going to be a much better deal than the i3 7100 once they're publicly available.
